Barbara Sichler is Director Business Development and Product Management at Volkswagen IT at Data:Lab Munich. The lab was created with the aim of enabling the Volkswagen Group to harness innovations in data analytics and machine learning. Barbara Sichler began her career in IT at IBM Deutschland GmbH, then moved to Audi AG in 2007 to head up the Process and System Coordination for the Retail Systems programme. In 2011, she oversaw the creation of the Audi App Center, a central team of experts for the development and certification of mobile applications, then moved into the area of Corporate Strategy at Audi AG, helping to shape the content of Audi’s digitalization strategy for 2025.
Jeff Herbst has served as NVIDIA’s VP of business development since 2001. He leads our worldwide business development efforts, including overall ecosystem development, mergers and acquisitions strategy, investments, partnerships, and other strategic business relationships and transactions. Previously, he was the worldwide head of corporate and business development at AltaVista, and earlier in his career was a partner with the law firm of Wilson Sonsini where he specialized in corporate and intellectual property law matters. Jeff has a B.S degree in Computer Science from Brown University (with an emphasis in computer graphics), and a law degree from Stanford Law School.
Odgers Berndtson is one the leading global executive search firms with the mission to provide clients with the support and expertise required to build exceptional leadership teams. Markus Trost is a partner handling senior technology oriented positions; he is one of the leading tech recruiters in the AI segment and an advocate of the partnership between NVIDIA and Odgers Berndtson. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, he has worked as CEO in the BPO / eCommerce industry and managed a family-owned business as CEO. He holds a Master Degree in Industrial Engineering from KIT and a postgraduate education from Harvard Business School, INSEAD and IMD.
Shu is a member of SoftBank's global investing team. He has made investments spanning sectors, from fintech to ride-hailing, in the US, India and China. Prior to joining SoftBank, Shu was a technology banker with JPMorgan, a consultant with McKinsey and a musician.
