A. GTC Europe is a 3-day conference designed to expose the innovative ways developers, businesses and academics are using parallel computing to transform our world.
From deep learning and self-driving cars to virtual reality and high performance computing; network, learn and do business with Europe’s brightest minds, best ideas and biggest opportunities.
GTC Europe is a sister event to the annual NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference in the US, spotlighting world-leading European innovation. |
| Q. What is the official language at GTC Europe? |
| A. The official language of GTC Europe is English. All presentations, hands-on labs, DLI and live demos will be presented in English. |
| Q. How is NVIDIA affiliated with the Conference? |
| A. NVIDIA is the curator of the 3-day GPU Technology Conference. NVIDIA will host and support the entire planning and organisation of GTC Europe. More info on NVIDIA can be found here. |
| Q. When and where does the GPU Technology Conference take place? |
A. GTC Europe takes place from October 10 to 12, 2017 in Munich, Germany.
GTC US takes place from May 8 to 11, 2017 in San Jose, California.
Since 2011, GTC events have also been held in Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul. |
| Q. Will the conference be recorded? |
| A. GTC Europe will be recorded. All video footage of keynote speakers, live demos and hands-on labs from the entire GTC Europe conference will be available online as soon as possible after the conference. Exceptions may apply for speakers who specifically requested their presentation to be kept private. |
| Q. Will PowerPoint presentations be made available? |
| A. No, NVIDIA will not distribute the GTC Europe presentations. Instead, you can always refer to the presentation recordings. If you are interested in reaching out to a particular presenter, we will make every effort to put you in contact with them. |
| Q. How can I attend the GTC Reception? |
| A. Those who have registered to GTC Europe may attend the drinks reception. Light appetisers and cocktails will be served. |
| Q. I am an international attendee. Do I need a visa to attend the conference? |
| A. Nationals from some countries require a visa to visit Germany. When registering for a GTC Europe conference pass, please advise us if you need a letter of invitation and we’ll be happy to provide you with one. |
| Q. Will you be sharing contact information for those speaking and attending GTC Europe? |
| A. No. We value your privacy, so we cannot disclose any personal information. GTC Europe attendees will have ample opportunity to network with keynote speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and fellow GPU enthusiasts throughout the conference. We would like to encourage you to download and use the GTC Europe mobile application where you will have the opportunity to establish contact with other guests at the event. |
| Q. Where can I find out information on the conference agenda? |
| A. We will update the agenda regularly leading up to the conference. The final agenda, including conference times, will be published on www.gputechconf.eu prior to the conference. An agenda will be included in the conference program handed out onsite at check-in and will also be readily available via the GTC mobile app. |
